Your Privacy Matters

ChainWhich is designed with privacy in mind.

Local Storage

We don't have access to your personal data. Your streak statistics are stored only on this device. Your device also generates and stores a randomly generated ID that we use to track usage in our analytics.

No Account Required

Play without creating an account or sharing any personal information.

Anonymous Analytics

We collect usage data (examples: solve rates, attempt counts, device type) to improve puzzles. No names, emails, or personally identifiable information are collected. Country-level location is derived from your timezone for geographic analytics.

Advertising Measurement

We occasionally promote ChainWhich online. These platforms track data about who visits ChainWhich as a result of their ad. We share data back about those visitors in order to measure ad effectiveness. We honor Do Not Track browser settings.

Community Puzzles

When you create a community puzzle, we store the puzzle name, words, and decoys on our servers for 14 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Puzzles are linked to your anonymized session ID—we cannot identify who created a puzzle. Anyone with the share link can play your puzzle while it’s active.

Terms of Use

By using ChainWhich, you agree to the following.

1

Content Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you create in community puzzles, including puzzle names, words, and decoys.

2

Acceptable Use

Do not create puzzles containing harassment, hate speech, explicit content, or material intended to harm others. Offensive language is automatically filtered.

3

Content Moderation

We may review and remove any community puzzle at our sole discretion, without notice or explanation.

4

No Guarantee of Availability

Community puzzles are temporary. They auto-delete after 14 days and may be removed sooner. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any puzzle.

5

No Liability for User Content

ChainWhich is not responsible for content created by other users. If you encounter a puzzle you find objectionable, please contact us.
